Our History & Legacy

From Visionary Beginnings to a National Reputation in Teen Recovery

Align Adolescent Recovery traces its roots to a family-owned, clinically sophisticated therapeutic program established in 1996. Founded by experienced psychotherapist Patrick Barrasso and his wife Betsy, Align was built to provide compassionate, evidence-based care specifically for adolescent males struggling with substance use and behavioral health issues.
