Clinical Director
Job Summary
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of Align Adolescent Recovery, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in medical and healthcare management. The Clinical Director will work closely with staff to foster a collaborative environment that promotes patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Will provide supervision to each Behavioral Health Technician.
- Oversee client’s assessment and treatment plan.
- Ensure all documentation is adhered to and meets the standards and requirements of Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Joint Commission
- Provide assessment, evaluation, individual and group therapy.
- Assure all documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, chart notes, discharge plans are completed in a timely manner.
- Help develop the policies and procedures for the outpatient treatment center.
- Help with the marketing of the outpatient program by representing the company in the community at various workshops and marketing opportunities.
- Provide training for new employees of the outpatient program.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy when indicated.
- Coordinate care with all other providing professionals for those clients that are in the outpatient program, i.e., psychiatrists, therapists, psychologists, etc.
- Make sure that all areas utilized for the service delivery of the program are kept in an orderly fashion.
- Help standardize in each of the different programs the paperwork necessary to meet the guidelines of the different governing bodies.
- Stay current on the most developed techniques in helping clients with substance abuse and mental health issues.
Skills
- Strong background in medical management, with a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Proven experience in healthcare management, demonstrating the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent management skills, including strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels as well as clients and their families.
Must have:
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Arizona Drivers License
- Bachelors degree, Masters Preferred
- Preferred: LCSW, LISAC

Mental Health Therapist
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our therapeutic boarding school team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with individuals, families, and groups to address a wide range of mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations for clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide psychotherapy using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, including grief counseling and crisis intervention.
- Offer child and family counseling, ensuring effective communication with parents and guardians.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy services when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and case management.
- Engage in clinical research activities as needed to enhance therapeutic practices.
- Provide support for clients dealing with PTSD, addiction, chronic pain, and developmental disabilities.
Skills
- Proficiency in various therapeutic approaches including Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and Dance Therapy.
- Experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, individuals with autism, and those with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical record keeping.
- Strong crisis management skills with the ability to perform crisis intervention effectively.
- Familiarity with behavioral management techniques and patient assessment protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and their families.
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings while adapting to the needs of each client.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to mental health care.
Must have:
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Experience working with adolescents in a residential, school, or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
