Academics
At Align Adolescent Recovery, we believe academic success is a vital part of a young man’s healing process, which is the reason we offer a fully accredited, in-person high school on our campus. Our academic program meets each student where he is—academically, emotionally, and developmentally—and provides the structure, support, and challenge he needs to thrive.
Whether your son is already an advanced learner, has learning differences, or is simply struggling to stay engaged, our goal is to help him reconnect with his education and rebuild confidence in the classroom.

Our Recovery High School
Our on-campus accredited high school is more than just a school—it’s an integrated part of your son’s treatment. Here, school doesn’t take a back seat to therapy. Instead, it works alongside it.
Our licensed teachers, academic advisors, and learning specialists collaborate closely with therapists and the clinical team to provide each student with a highly personalized academic plan. We offer in-person instruction, small class sizes, credit recovery, special education support, and college-prep courses—all within a structured, encouraging environment.

Our Philosophy on Adolescent Education
We believe every student has untapped potential—often obscured by trauma, substance use, or emotional dysregulation. By creating a safe, supportive classroom environment, we help students rediscover their abilities, rebuild confidence, and learn how to succeed again.
School becomes more than just academics; it becomes a place where students learn resilience, develop executive functioning, and experience the pride of achievement.

A School That Understands Recovery
As part of a comprehensive residential treatment program, our school environment is built with emotional safety, behavioral support, and therapeutic integration in mind. We recognize that adolescents in recovery often need:
- Flexibility within structure
- Trauma-informed teaching
- Clear expectations and boundaries
- Encouragement and accountability
- Space to process setbacks with support
Our teachers work side-by-side with our clinical team to ensure each student’s mental health and educational needs are both prioritized.
